Spearheaded Student Wellness Initiative Campaign

Led the strategy and public affairs campaign to secure student support for the ASI Student Wellness Initiative, which proposed a multi-year, phased Student Center Fee increase to fund critical infrastructure: a new Wellness Center, Centralized Basic Needs Center, and TSU/SRC expansion.

The campaign’s extensive groundwork and strategic repositioning were credited with its successful adoption the year after, following widely spread awareness to the campus.

  • Executive Strategy: When the project was challenged and initially shelved due to the external CSU tuition hike, I managed communications to refocus the plan and lower the proposed fee. This strategic pivot preserved the initiative's viability and built the necessary consensus for its eventual passage.

  • Organizational Leadership: Fostered a high-impact collaboration between the Events and Marketing teams to unify messaging, strengthen promotional efforts, and ensure organizational synergy for maximum campus reach.

  • Grassroots Mobilization: Drove the promotional strategy for the community engagement efforts, generating vital public mandate by promoting 200 presentations and supporting the circulation of 5,217 student surveys to build an undeniable case for the policy.
